McDonald Avenue Promenade
The Historical Society of Santa Rosa presented a tour of the historic McDonald Avenue neighborhood lead by Kay Ward and Gaye LeBaron.
Attendees learned about the McDonald Avenue neighborhood from its beginnings in the 1800s, why it was built and a history of its planners. Ward and LeBaron highlighted the architecture of some of the most stately homes, the movies that have been filmed on the street, and a general history of local notables who have lived in the neighborhood.
